The Brittany Pozzi Lifter Bit is created to help pick up the horse’s shoulder while going into the turn and coming around the back side. The lifter gives excellent elevation in the front end while engaging the hind quarters for the turn. It is also helpful with asking your horse to break at the poll and get ready to turn. The Slow Twist Billy Allen mouthpiece offers quite a bit of independent action in the cheek in order to lift one shoulder without affecting the other side of the horse’s engagement. This mouthpiece can keep one side square and framed while being able to lift the other shoulder up effectively. It lays stable across the horse’s tongue and is quicker to both engage and to release.

This is my favorite bit in my collection. I have ridden two different horses to world titles using this hackamore. "The hackamore is great for a horse that just needs some guiding around the turn or one that does not like a bit in its mouth. The side pull action on the shank makes it easy for your horse to work without getting in its way and gives you a small amount of lift. The large connection in the center of the snaffle keeps the bit from locking up keeping the horse comfortable. The weight of the rings also makes the bit very balanced.
