We added length to the shanks for the added control needed for colts or serious competition. Notice how well the nose floats as you pull the shanks to keep the nose riding in proper position but will not drop down to cut off the horses wind. Shanks are designed to swivel for excellent flex. Rope nose is for better control. Stainless steel resists rust.

The Bozo Sidepull is a replica of the headgear World Champion barrel racer Kristie Peterson used on Bozo. It allows your horse to be comfortable enough to really run in, yet gives you enough control to rate and regulate the run. It helps correct a horse that is over bending, and is more for the finished horse than for training. 7-1/2-inch shank. This is truly a versatile little bit. While this bit is not for every horse it has found it's place with breaking colts, pleasure, trail and mules. This bit is for well broken horses where too much bit is the problem. This nosepiece will adjust from colt to warm blood.
