  • Sharon Camarillo Signature Lifesaver Snaffle 703

Reinsman Equestrian Products Sharon Camarillo Signature Lifesaver Snaffle 703

    1 in stock

More responsive than a twisted wire snaffle, this mouthpiece has more tongue contact and quicker pressure release than a traditional two-piece snaffle. Will keep a horse supple and light throughout his training. Stage A bits are great for starting horses, training, or maintaining steady contact. Handmade in Yoakum, Texas. Sweet iron is intended to rust and is sweet tasting to the horse to promote salivation, which makes a more supple feeling mouth. It may be used with or without a leather curb strap; we recommend using a leather curb strap for safety. Sharon Camarillo is a 4x National Finals Rodeo qualifier and Cowgirl Hall of Fame inductee. Camarillo designs bits for Training, Transition, and Competition to help the rider communicate skills that will enhance the horse's foundation and eventually produce a consistent and efficient performance at a variety of speeds. This foundation is especially important in the sport of barrel racing and timed events where speed is a critical factor. Every Reinsman bit comes with a LIFETIME WARRANTY. It's our promise to repair or replace your lifetime warrantied bit for the full life of the bit free of charge.

  • Sale -9% Goostree CG Chain Snaffle

    Equibrand Goostree CG Chain Snaffle

    2 in stock

The CG bit is one of the first bits Carol Goosetree designed. She developed this bit especially for her champion mount -inch Dobre-inch, in the late seventies. The chain snaffle mouthpiece and short gag action makes this bit soft and forgiving in a horse's mouth. Horses tend to feel comfortable in this bit and show a lot of response without overreacting. It helps add control in the turns, and support and correct an overly bendy horse. The CGs weighted shanks add more feel and help encourage a proper headset.

  • Sale -5% *EQ 66 Chain

    Professional's Choice *EQ 66 Chain

    2 in stock

The unique design of this bit offers direct contact similar to a ring snaffle with the shoulder elevation of a gag and the collection from a curb strap. This is a great training or transition bit. The gag movement allows the horse to give at the poll before the curb comes into effect. All of these bits should be adjusted to fit with one wrinkle in the horse's mouth and a loose curb strap to allow 2-3 fingers. This mouthpiece is often misrepresented, but is actually a very mild and useful training tool. The chain conforms to the shape of the horse's mouth, applying mild tongue and bar pressure. This mouthpiece works well on horses in any discipline.
