Toklat Myler Bit 89-11285 Flat Shank with Correctional High Ported Barrel
Myler Stainless Steel 7" Flat Shank, MB 27PB HP Correctional High Ported Barrel, Level 2-3 The MB 27PB HP is a Myler correctional mouthpiece, which is a ported mouthpiece that collapses onto the outer lip and bars and rotates onto the tongue. The port, although narrow, allows room for the horse’s tongue to pass under the bit. When the reins are engaged and the mouthpiece rotates onto the tongue, it applies two concentrated points of pressure on the tongue for quick control. Sweet Iron mouthpiece oxidizes and encourages salivation. Independent Side Movement Sweet Iron Mouthpiece Curved mouthpiece Copper Inlay Notes: For more tongue relief, see the MB 41PB. For the same mouthpiece without Independent Side Movement, see the MB 27. For a non-correctional version offering more tongue relief, see the MB 43LP. The 7" Flat Shank is stainless steel and curved slightly back towards the horse, with a flat-top purchase and a rein ring. The mouthpiece has a fixed attachment. The Flat Shank has the patented Independent Swivel Cheek, where the purchase, mouthpiece, and shank all move independently of each other. The purchase is slightly angled away from the cheek to avoid rubbing. It has an indirect (curb) rein action designed to be used with a curb strap that attaches to the purchase. The flat shank uses the combination of the fixed cheek and fixed rein to apply pressure to the mouth, chin, and poll.

Professional's Choice EQ 66 Dogbone
The unique design of this bit offers direct contact similar to a ring snaffle with the shoulder elevation of a gag and the collection from a curb strap. This is a great training or transition bit. The gag movement allows the horse to give at the poll before the curb comes into effect. All of these bits should be adjusted to fit with one wrinkle in the horse's mouth and a loose curb strap to allow 2-3 fingers. This mouthpiece is soft on the bars, making this bit good for lateral control and collection. A wonderful choice when transitioning from a D-Ring or O-Ring snaffle.NOTE: This bit will rust when exposed to moisture. This creates a sweet taste in the horses mouth and promotes salivation.
