The slight gag action gives the horse a chance to prepare for full contact before the rider actually engages the bit 100%. This bit is comfortable, safe and provides a tremendous amount of feel for the rider without being too harsh. Each bit in the Double Gag line can be flipped depending on desired leverage, essentially making it two bits in one. Available in short and long shanks.

When properly adjusted, it is still considered a mild cheek, but one with plenty of leverage for control at increased speeds. The Chain has a stainless steel cheek with an inlaid copper chain mouthpiece. Good tool for reiterating bend and flex.
