The Pickup Bit is available in both long and short shank versions and is Carol’s next step up in control. Works well for obtaining shoulder control on seasoned horses that need help keeping their shoulder lifted going into the turns. Offers increased shoulder control and rate when needed. Horses that are harder mouthed usually respond well to the Pickup bit when lighter gag bits are not enough. Available in short and long shanks.

The CG bit is one of the first bits Carol Goosetree designed. She developed this bit especially for her champion mount -inch Dobre-inch, in the late seventies. The chain snaffle mouthpiece and short gag action makes this bit soft and forgiving in a horse's mouth. Horses tend to feel comfortable in this bit and show a lot of response without overreacting. It helps add control in the turns, and support and correct an overly bendy horse. The CGs weighted shanks add more feel and help encourage a proper headset.
