Equibrand Goostree Double Gag Long Shank Dr Bristol
The Double Gag is intended for a rider to use on a light-mouthed horse that may need more direction and lift in competition runs as speed increases. The slight gag action gives the horse a chance to prepare for full contact before the rider actually engages the bit 100%. This bit is comfortable, safe and provides a tremendous amount of feel for the rider without being too harsh. Each bit in the Double Gag line can be flipped depending on desired leverage, essentially making it two bits in one. Available in short and long shanks.

Professional's Choice EQ 66 Dogbone
The unique design of this bit offers direct contact similar to a ring snaffle with the shoulder elevation of a gag and the collection from a curb strap. This is a great training or transition bit. The gag movement allows the horse to give at the poll before the curb comes into effect. All of these bits should be adjusted to fit with one wrinkle in the horse's mouth and a loose curb strap to allow 2-3 fingers. This mouthpiece is soft on the bars, making this bit good for lateral control and collection. A wonderful choice when transitioning from a D-Ring or O-Ring snaffle.NOTE: This bit will rust when exposed to moisture. This creates a sweet taste in the horses mouth and promotes salivation.

Equibrand Classic Tool Box Bit 7.5" Dogbone
The 7-1/2-inch cheek style is next in the lineup. Extremely versatile, this bit can be used for training drills, pleasure riding, or competition. This cheek has a 2-1/2-inch purchase with a 5-inch shank. The shank is swept back, like the 6-inch model, but to a lesser degree, which offers more leverage and control. When properly adjusted, it is still considered a mild cheek, but one with plenty of leverage for control at increased speeds. The Low Port Barrel is a highly universal bit that works well for anything from training to pleasure riding to competition. When engaged, the low port provides tongue relief as slight pressure is applied to the bars of the mouth and to the palate. Each side works independently from the port for increased lateral flexion.
